The top left hand rectangle (button) contains the Current Individual information. Users may click anywhere within the rectangle to view this individual's data or begin a new record. Once an individual has been entered, the user can click on the spouse button or the Family button to enter marriage information.
The immediate parents of an entered individual can be entered as well. If the parents exist, then the grandparents' button can be clicked on.
If a button contains information such as: Name, Birth Date, Death Date, etc., then that individual may be clicked on to move them to the Current Individual location in the upper left. The Pedigree View screen is updated automatically with the Individual's parents, grandparents, spouse, and children.
Choose the "5" button for an expanded generational view of the Current Individual.
